Chapter 7

The Road is not Smooth Watch for Danger

Unforeseen obstacles can derail even the most well-organized reengineering project team:

   - Leadership imperfections,

   - Terrorists and saboteurs (driven by ambition and the need to control),

   - The plight of middle management,

   - Anguish of cultural struggle (psycho-social aspects),

   - Project paralysis:

      - perfectionism,

      - impatience,

     - dizziness of possibilities,

     - letting details fall through the cracks.
